What this needs to cover
What operators can't host or sell through Tempo. The legal team should confirm scope against:
- Activities that local jurisdictions classify as regulated (e.g. alcohol, firearms, adult, gambling, scuba instruction without PADI/SSI/SDI credentials in jurisdictions that require it).
- Healthcare carve-out — Tempo's locked booking-taxonomy excludes regulated healthcare (medical, dental, mental-health). This needs to be stated explicitly in the AUP.
- Resale / arbitrage — operators must own the inventory + service they list (no third-party reseller arbitrage without an explicit B2B contract).
- Hate / harassment / illegal — standard SaaS table-stakes.
What it does NOT need to cover
- Per-jurisdiction operator licensing. Tempo is the platform; the operator is the licensed entity. The AUP only states that operators must hold whatever licences their jurisdiction requires — Tempo doesn't verify or enforce.
Enforcement
V1 enforcement is operator-self-reported + complaint-driven. The workspace controls EPIC (M-WORKSPACE-CONTROLS-V1) shipped temporary closure + hibernate + transfer-ownership; AUP violations route through manual review → hibernate or close-account.
No automated content moderation in V1.
